Teaches CLEP and AP Exams
CLEP Professor is a software series that prepares students for College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and Advanced Placement (AP) exams. Each title in the series provides a diagnostic test, interactive video lectures that teach each concept, practice problems with video solutions, and computer based practice exams. Course instructor Dr. David Shormann, is also the author and creator of the DIVE Into Math and Science series.

Step by Step Instruction and Video Solutions
Each CLEP Professor CD-ROM contains a diagnostic test, 20 lessons that teach all the knowledge and skills required to pass the exam, over 200 practice problems with detailed video solutions, plus three full-length practice exams with video solutions. Like the actual exam, the practice exams are computer based and timed. Each practice exam problem is cross-referenced back to the CLEP Professor lessons, allowing the student to quickly re-learn a missed problem. The CLEP College Algebra Exam covers material usually taught in a one-semester college course in College Algebra. Building on high school Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 courses, Dr. Shormann teaches every topic tested on the CLEP College Algebra Exam. Prerequisite is High School Algebra 2. The CLEP Pre-Calculus exam covers material normally taught in a one-semester college course in pre-calculus. CLEP Professor lessons use the same computer-based graphing calculator used on the actual CLEP Pre-Calculus Exam, ensuring students will be familiar with its use. Prerequisite is high school Pre-Calculus. If you have not completed this course, we recommend you complete our DIVE Advanced Mathematics Set which teach the high school course and includes a free copy of CLEP Professor for Pre-Calculus. Students pursuing a non-science college major should consider CLEP Calculus, while science and engineering students should consider the AP Calculus AB and BC exams. Please contact your local college or university for testing dates (AP Exams are usually only administered twice per year, while CLEP exams can be taken year-round).
